# RxShift > Compliance-ready pharmacy scheduling. RxShift is a B2B SaaS scheduling platform built > specifically for retail pharmacies (1-25 locations). It embeds state pharmacist-to-technician > staffing ratio rules directly into the schedule, flags ratio deficiencies before a shift is > published, and generates a timestamped hourly Compliance Record for board inspections. RxShift was built by a working pharmacist. Co-founder Susan (Susie) Monahan-West, PharmD, BCGP has spent more than 25 years in pharmacy practice; RxShift began as her fix for keeping her own pharmacy's staffing provably compliant with state ratio rules. Co-founder Jamison West runs the business and technical side. See /about. ## States supported (current law enforced today, with official sources cited) - **Nevada** — NAC 639.250 / NRS 639.1371: 1 pharmacist may supervise up to 3 technicians (or 1 technician + 2 trainees). A proposed rule, R072-25, would raise this to 4 (not yet adopted as of 2026-07-03) — RxShift enforces current law and can preview the proposed rule behind a toggle. See /nevada. - **California** — BPC 4115 (as amended by AB 1503, effective January 1, 2026): additive formula, 3 technicians for the first pharmacist, +3 per additional pharmacist. See /states/california. - **Tennessee** — Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 1140-02-.02: 6 non-certified technicians per pharmacist; certified (CPhT) technicians are uncapped. See /states/tennessee. - **Alabama** — Ala. Admin. Code r. 680-X-2-.14(5): a ceiling that scales with certified-tech count — 2 base, 3 with one certified, 4 with two or more certified (hard ceiling). See /states/alabama. - **Colorado** — C.R.S. 12-280-122: 6 technicians and interns combined per pharmacist (max 2 interns); once 3+ technicians are on duty, a majority must be certified and every technician must hold at least a provisional certification. See /states/colorado. - **Georgia** — O.C.G.A. § 26-4-82(d) + Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. r. 480-15-.03(e): flat ceiling of 4 technicians per pharmacist, requiring at least 1 certified to reach 3 and at least 2 to reach 4. See /states/georgia. - **New Jersey** — N.J.A.C. 13:39-6.15: base cap of 2 technicians per pharmacist for any mix; above that, every technician on duty must be certified, with no stated upper ceiling. See /states/new-jersey. - **Ohio** — OAC 4729:5-5-02.2: no numeric ratio, but a 13-hour single-workday cap, an 8-hour minimum rest between shifts, and 3-year documentation retention for any exception. See /states/ohio. - **South Carolina** — S.C. Code Ann. § 40-43-86(B)(4)(b): 4 technicians per pharmacist total, of which no more than 2 may be non-certified. Supported for **community and retail** pharmacies only; South Carolina's separate institutional 1-to-3 rule is an *employment* ratio across everyone a site employs (not an on-duty check) and expressly leaves day-to-day supervision to the pharmacist-in-charge, so RxShift does not model it and does not substitute a stricter on-duty cap. See /states/south-carolina. Every state's regulation source is independently researched and dated; see the "Read the official regulation" link on each state page for the primary source document. ## Pricing Per location, per month, no setup fees.
